Scio, Oregon · Since 1990
Best Heating & Cooling has kept Linn, Benton and Marion counties warm since 1990. Three ways in, and every one of them works from a phone.
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Fastest way to get a truck scheduled.
Tap to call503-394-3461Evenings, weekends, whenever it quits. Pick a time on our own scheduler and we'll confirm it.
Schedule service onlineThis whole page is built around those three boxes, and here's why they're the first thing on it instead of the last.
Not one phone number on your current website is a link. Header, footer, contact page, all of them are typed onto the page as plain text. On a computer nobody notices. On a phone, somebody standing in a cold house has to select the number, copy it, open the dialer and paste it, and a fair number of them just don't. That's a setting whoever built the site was supposed to switch on, and it never got switched on. Both numbers above are real tap-to-call links. Try them on your own phone right now.
The third box is yours already and Google doesn't know it exists. You have an online scheduler sitting on your contact page. It works. It's a real, bookable widget, and you're paying for it. The only link on your entire Google listing is your homepage, so a person who finds you on Google can't book from Google. They can call during business hours or they can land on the front page and go hunting.
I did not rebuild your scheduler and I'm not going to. It's your paid account and it isn't mine to move. That button goes to your own contact page, where your scheduler already lives. That's the honest way to do it and it also means nothing breaks on your side.
The free fix, and go do it whether or not you ever call me. Sign in to whatever account manages your Google listing, hit Edit profile, look for the booking or appointment link field, and paste in the address of your contact page. If Google doesn't offer that field for your category, you've lost a minute.
Office hours, exactly as they read on our Google listing and on our own contact page.
Credit where it's due. Your hours on Google match the hours on your own contact page exactly, Monday to Friday, seven to three thirty. That sounds like it should be normal and it almost never is. I checked it twice expecting a mismatch. There isn't one, so this page prints it the way you have it and nothing needs fixing.
One question I'd rather ask than guess at. Your contact page mentions overtime fees for after hours appointments, and your Google listing shows Closed on Saturday and Sunday with nothing next to it. So do you take after hours work or not? If you do, that's worth a line right under the hours, because a furnace that quits at 9 PM on a Saturday is the single most valuable call you'll get all week. If you deliberately don't advertise it, I'll leave it exactly as it is. Your call, not mine.
Linn, Benton and Marion counties, in our own words.
Roughly a 25 mile radius of Scio. If you're just outside it, call and ask.
Installation, maintenance, repair and service. Residential and commercial.
Our own published plans, at our own published rates.
Gold
$45 a month
Silver
$30 a month
Bronze
$15 a month
Those are the only three prices on this entire page, and all three are yours. You publish them yourself, so I'm comfortable printing them. Nothing else on here has a number on it, because I'm not going to price your work for you.
Silver and Bronze are blank and that's not an oversight. I have the rates and I don't have the benefit lists, and I'd rather show you an empty box than write a benefit you don't actually offer and have a customer hold you to it. Send me the two lists and they go in as written.
The plans deserve more room than they get today. A recurring monthly plan is the steadiest money in this trade and yours are priced where people say yes. Right now somebody has to already be on your site and already be curious to find them.

Best Heating & Cooling is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer.
Both frames are empty on purpose. The photographs on your current site are yours, and I didn't take one of them and drop it on a page with your name on it without asking. Two phone pictures fill both boxes, and in this trade they matter more than they should, because the thing being sold is a stranger you're letting into your house.
There isn't one customer quote on this page and I want to be straight about why. You have a testimonials page and a reviews page. I did not read either one end to end, so I'm not going to lift a sentence off them and put quote marks around it. Same for your 470 Google reviews. The rating is on the page because I read the rating. Nothing else about those reviews is on here, because I didn't read anything else.
The Carrier line is on the page because it's your sentence off your own homepage. There's no Carrier logo and no Carrier product copy anywhere on here, and there won't be. That's the manufacturer's, not mine to place. I'm not touching your Carrier side at all. What I do is the Google half and the website that hangs off it.
